New York City
Easter 2005
I spent two weeks in New York during the Easter Holidays, staying at the YMCA in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
All of the photos were taken with a 1960 Rolleiflex TLR.
USS Intrepid
This aircraft carrier was in service from 1943 to 1973. It saw action in the second world war, the Vietnem war and served as a recovery carrier for NASA's Mercury and Gemini flights. It's now docked on the Hudson, at pier 86.
There are exhibits on it's flight deck, and in it's hanger. There's also a submarine tied up along side, and a concorde aeroplane on an adjacent barge.
