New York City
Easter 2005
I spent two weeks in New York during the Easter Holidays, staying at the YMCA in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
All of the photos were taken with a 1960 Rolleiflex TLR.
Trip to Staten Island
On the Wednesday of the first week I took the ferry over to Staten Island, and hiked down through it's wooded centre. The weather was cool but mostly sunny, with a glorious sunset on the return ferry ride.
The island is one of the five boroughs of the city, along with Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and The Bronx. Only The Bronx is actually attached to the mainland.
